Officials from various departments and organizations gathered on March 21st to discuss the traffic, parking, security, and other issues faced by the Hinjawadi IT Park companies in Pune. The meeting, chaired by Police Commissioner Vinay Kumar Chaubey, saw the presence of representatives from the local police department, the Hinjawadi Industries Association, Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority, Pune Metro, Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation, National Highways Authority of India, and Maharashtra Industrial and Development Corporation.

Discussions were held on a range of topics related to the Rajiv Gandhi Infotech Park at Hinjewadi – Maan. Hinjawadi Industries Association presented a presentation highlighting various issues in the IT sector, while the Hinjewadi Traffic Division Police Inspector Vitthal Kubde presented a solution to the traffic problem in the area.

Police Inspector Arvind Pawar also gave a presentation and urged people to report any complaints related to Mathadi or the industrial area through a dedicated WhatsApp number and email. Participants were also advised to place a register board in front of their company to report any demands for extortion or money. The meeting discussed issues such as power supply, traffic congestion, infrastructure and safety of public working in these IT Parks and MIDC areas.

The meeting concluded with an assurance from all departments and the police department that they would work together to solve the problems faced by Hinjawadi IT Park and the industries in the area. Retd. Col. Yogesh Joshi proposed a vote of thanks at the end of the meeting.
