Pimpri Chinchwad Traffic Police Announces Diversion Plan Ahead Of Mhatoba Dev Yatra In Hinjawadi On April 23 

In anticipation of the upcoming Yatra of village deity Mhatoba Dev scheduled for 23 April 2024, authorities have devised a comprehensive traffic diversion plan to ensure the smooth flow of the procession and to minimize disruptions.

The Yatra, including the traditional Bagaad procession, is set to commence at 16:00 in the afternoon in Hinjewadi. To facilitate the procession and maintain public safety, the following traffic diversions will be in effect:

1. Tata T Junction to Wakad Naka:

   – Traffic rerouted via Wipro Circle Phase 02 Chowk, Shivaji Chowk, Tata T Junction Chowk, Laxmi Chowk, and Bhumkar Chowk.

2. Geometric circle to Wakad Naka:

   – Traffic redirected through Geometric Circle Chowk, Meza-9 Chowk, Shivaji Chowk, Laxmi Chowk, and Bhumkar Chowk.

3. Shivaji Chowk to Bhumkar Chowk:

   – Traffic diverted via Shivaji Chowk, Kasturi Chowk, Indian Oil Chowk, and Wakad village to reach Bhumkar Chowk.

4. From Indian Oil Chowk to Vinode Vasti Chowk:

   – Traffic routed through Indian Oil Chowk, Kasturi Chowk, Shivaji Chowk, Wakad Gaon, and Vinode Vasti Chowk.

5. Indian Oil Chowk to Wakad Naka, Sayaji Underpass:

   – Traffic directed via Indian Oil Chowk, Wakad Over Bridge, Wakad Village, and Sayaji Underpass to reach Wakad Naka.

6. Mula River Bridge Puncture to Wakad Naka (Bhujbal Chowk):

   – Traffic rerouted through the service road, Wakad Village, and Bhumkar Chowk to reach Wakad Naka (Bhujbal Chowk).

7. Prohibition from Maruji Y Junction to Kasturi Chowk and Shivaji Chowk:

   – Traffic restricted from proceeding towards Kasturi Chowk; redirected via Marunji Y Junction, Vinode Vasti, Lakshmi Chowk, Indian Oil Chowk, and Shivaji Chowk.

These diversions aim to facilitate the smooth movement of traffic and ensure the safety of participants and commuters during the Mhatoba Dev Yatra.
