Pimpri : Digital Hospital Registration system implemented by PCMC

Pune: All private hospitals coming under the purview of Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC) will now have the provision of online registration, registration renewal and making changes in the registration information etc. through the official website of PCMC – https://www.pcmcindia.gov.in. The inauguration of the online registration process was done by the PCMC Municipal Commissioner Shekhar Singh on June 6, 2023.Â
It is worth noting that the health department of the PCMC is going to completely cancel the physical registration of hospitals. It will accept online registrations only.Â
As per the new online system, during the registration of a particular hospital, the hospital must create an account and furnish the details of the official person in charge on the portal. All the relevant documents must be uploaded online during registration.
It is worth noting that hospitals in different parts of the city come under 8 main hospitals. Hence, the registration of a hospital will be done depending on its location and will be registered under a relevant hospital.
After the application is received, a medical officer from the hospital under which it is registered, will carry out the inspection and will submit their response on the portal. After the registration process is complete, the hospital will have to pay the registration charges online. The application will then be transferred to the main office. The main office will issue a price challan depending on the services at the hospital. After the hospital completes all the payments, the medical health officer will generate a final certificate which will be available in the hospital’s registered account. A QR code will be available to check the authenticity of the final certificate. The current status of the application can be frequently checked by the hospital and health department on the dashboard.
The status of the registration process will be notified to the concerned person of that hospital via SMS.
