PMC issues guidelines for Christmas celebrations in Pune

Pune Municipal Corporation has issued guidelines in view of Christmas and New Year celebrations in Pune. Vikram Kumar, Commissioner, Pune Municipal Corporation has issued guidelines on December 24, 2020. 
In his letter, it states that : 

Not more than 50 people are allowed to gather at one place. Special prayers shall be held only within attendance of maximum 50 people. Avoid mass gatherings in the premises of Church. Following social distancing and wearing a mask is compulsory.  
Sanitisation of prayer halls is mandatory. Installation of idols, Christmas Tree should be such that mass gathering around the decoration does not happen. 

Only 10 Choiristers are allowed to sing in Choir. Also, each of them should be given a separate mike system. 
No stalls / temporary shops are allowed outside the Church’s premises. 
Citizens above 60 years and children 10 years are not allowed to attend public gatherings. Facility of Online Mass should be arranged for them. 
Bursting of firecrackers is not allowed. Also ensure that there is no sound and air pollution. 
Thanks Giving Mass to be held on December 31 shall be held at 7 pm or before. 
Everyone should strictly follow the guidelines issued by the PMC, state and central Government in view of Covid19 pandemic. Those found violating the norms shall be punished under Disaster Management Act 2005, Section 51 -60 and IPC Section 188.  Â
