PMC issues notices to 11 unauthorized constructions in Ambegaon Budruk

Builders of 11 unauthorized constructions have received notices from the Pune Municipal Corporation’s ( PMC) building permission department requesting compliance reports in ten days.

Speaking to Pune Pulse, Hemant More, Executive Engineer, PMC Building Permission Department said, “These 11 unauthorized constructions are near Survey no 10 in Ambegaon Budruk. As they are unauthorized, notices have been sent to them. Legal complaints are also being filed against the concerned builders of which the process is still going on.”

As per information, Ambegaon Budruk residents are worried about the protracted lack of action regarding these towering structures. It has been questioned if the civic department sent out notices merely as a formality or if they purposefully ignored these constructions. The involvement of one or more officials in these activities has also raised questions about possible corruption.
