PMC will expand services through WhatsApp
Some of the citizens may find it difficult to navigate the PMC website and avail the online services. So, PMC is providing all services through one click whatsapp chatbox.
The Pune Municipal Corporation will expand their whatsapp services soon. Up till now, income tax and water tax could only be paid through PMC’s Whatsapp service but soon no objection certificate, contact number of officers and various departments will be available. Municipal Commissioner Vikram Kumar said that the whatsapp chat box service would begin in the next 7 to 8 days.
Some of the citizens may find it difficult to navigate the PMC website and avail the online services. So, PMC is providing all services through one click whatsapp chatbox.
PMC has a whatsapp number for these purposes, which is 8888251001. At least 97000 citizens are using this system, as of now.
” The testing to extend the services through the WhatsApp number is in the final stages. The technical work is also over. WhatsApp chatbox service will be available in the next eight to ten days,” said Ravindra Binwade, Additional Commissioner PMC.
