PMRDA submits Wadachiwadi Town Planning Plan to state government for approval
Pune: On behalf of the Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA), the proposed preliminary plan on an area of 134.79 hectares at Wadachi Wadi Taluka Haveli has been submitted to the state government.
Around 1700 tenant farmers covering 131.84 hectares of land and 2.95 hectares of drainage area are included in this urban planning scheme, out of which 148 developed final plots of 50% area have been made available to beneficiary farmers and 11.72 for Economically Weaker Section (EWS) Housing Scheme. 9 plots of hectare area have been reserved.
About 19.22% area (25.33 Hectare) in this plan area is ring road (9.83 Hectare.) and internal roads (15.50 Hectare), 7 plots for grounds, 11 plots for garden, 8 plots for Kindergarten, 2 plots and 2 open spaces are proposed for green belt, apart from civic facilities such as primary health centre, hospital, cultural centre, vegetable centre, Fire Station, crematorium, sub station, sewage treatment centre, bus station, shopping centre, etc. Plots have also been reserved.
About 9.83 hectares of area required for a 1.5 km road of 65 m width will be taken over from this town development scheme.
