In the latest Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) examination results, Pooja Arun Vanjari achieved a significant milestone by securing the top position among girls in the state.

The merit list, announced yesterday by the Public Service Commission, has set Pooja Vanjari on the path to realizing her dream of becoming a Sub-Collector.

Originally hailing from Borgaon (now Valwa), Pooja pursued her primary and secondary education at Mohanrao Patangrao Patil School, Borgaon. The daughter of a farmer, Arun Vanjari, and a homemaker, Pooja prepared for her competitive exams in Pune. Despite encountering failures, her perseverance paid off, and she succeeded in her third attempt.

Pooja’s journey in the realm of competitive exams began with her selection as an Assistant Registrar Cooperative Society Officer in 2019. Taking charge of her responsibilities in 2022, she currently serves as an Assistant Registrar at Sakhar Sankul in Pune. While flourishing in her government service, Pooja continues to strive for higher goals, aiming to attain the position of Deputy Collector.

Her family, rooted in Borgaon, celebrated Pooja’s achievement, and her success has become a source of inspiration for her younger sister Prajakta, who is pursuing training as a headmaster. Additionally, her cousin Ranjit Vanjari works as an assistant engineer at Irrigation Bhavan, Pune. Pooja Vanjari’s dedication and success underscore her determination to contribute significantly to public service.
