For the sustainable growth & development of Maharashtra with the help of Artificial Intelligence (AI), the Maharashtra state government & Google India signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on 8th February (Thursday).
As per further information from the X handle of Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis “This is the First ever collaboration in our Nation, an MoU for AI Centre of Excellence, powered by Google! Looking forward to creating wonders to improve the life of a common man, till the last man!”
The X handle of Google India says “Technology has the potential to deliver boundless benefits to the economy, society, and people. Today, we’re thrilled to join hands with the Maharashtra Government on AI solutions that empower citizens, create new opportunities, and build a thriving innovation ecosystem.”
As per further information, at the significant event of MoU signing between the government of Maharashtra and Google India, the partnership focusing on leveraging AI for sustainability and predictability, aiming to enhance lives across the state was discussed. With seven key collaboration areas, including agriculture and healthcare, they are set to revolutionise industries and drive innovation.
The MoU was signed between the Government of Maharashtra and Google India by Sanjay Gupta, Country Head of Google India and Chief Secretary of Government of Maharashtra Nitin Kareer.
