Pune Airport Adds 3 More Shuttle Buses To Improve Connectivity To AeroMall
Pune: In preparation for the complete shift of flight operations to Pune Airport’s new terminal by the end of February, the airport administration has increased the number of shuttle buses between the terminal and AeroMall from two to three.
The additional bus will help accommodate 240 more passengers per hour, facilitating the movement of over 2,500 passengers daily.
Due to limited space at the new terminal for commercial taxis, passengers requiring cabs must first travel 570 meters to AeroMall. To ease this transition, three shuttle buses have been introduced to eliminate the need for passengers to walk.
In addition to the buses, 10 golf carts are available to transport passengers to AeroMall, and both services are completely free of charge.
Yuvraj Singh Rajput, Vice President of AeroMall, Pune Airport, stated, “We have increased the number of buses to improve passenger convenience, especially at night. If required, we will further expand the fleet.”
- Total buses: 3
- Trips per hour: 6
- Daily passenger capacity: Approx. 8,640
- Seating capacity per bus: 40
- Passengers transported per hour: 240
