Pune: Asavari Jagdale, Daughter Of Pahalgam Attack Victim, Gets Job In PMC
Pune, March 18, 2026: Keeping the promise made during a moment of grief, Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis ensured that Asavari Santosh Jagdale, who lost her father in the tragic Pahalgam attack, received a government administrative post in the Pune Municipal Corporation. The appointment letter was handed over to her by Mayor Manjusha Deepak Nagpure.
Speaking on the occasion, Mayor Nagpure highlighted that CM Fadnavis had personally followed up on the case, ensuring that the commitment was fulfilled. She added, “Standing firmly with families in their time of loss is the true duty of governance and administration.”
Asavari Jagdale, a B.Sc. in Computer Science and MBA graduate, was appointed based on her academic qualifications. Mayor Nagpure expressed pride in providing an opportunity to such a talented young woman.

She emphasized that both the state government and PMC work sensitively to ensure timely justice and assistance to citizens, especially families of martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the nation.
CM Fadnavis personally spoke to Asavari over the phone, congratulating her and offering encouragement to the family. The ceremony was attended by PMC Commissioner Naval Kishore Ram, corporators Ganesh Bidkar and Dheeraj Ghate, Additional Commissioner Pavneet Kaur, and members of the Jagdale family. Attendees reaffirmed that the Pune Municipal Corporation will continue to stand by the Jagdale family in the future.
