Pune: Captain Parth Jagtap Conferred With Distinguished Award By Governor Of Maharashtra
Pune, December 3, 2025: Captain Parth Jagtap, an Indian Army officer & alumnus of DAV Public School, Pune was honoured with the Distinguished Award by His Excellency Governor Acharya Devvrat at Raj Bhawan, Mumbai for his exemplary achievements in the field of sports and academics.
A distinguished gathering, including the Governor’s wife Darshana Devi, veteran actor Anupam Kher and DAV College Managing Committee President Punam Suri, attended the event.
Capt Jagtap, also serves as Captain of the Services Ice Hockey Team and is committed to represent the India Army in Ice Hockey and working towards furthering sports excellence. He reiterated his vision of seeing India emerge as a leading sporting nation, aiming for podium finishes at international events.
On this occasion, the Governor congratulated all the award winners and appreciated their contributions to the nation, inspiring future generations.
