In response to the surge in passenger demand, Central Railway’s Pune Division has decided to extend the operations of several special trains. These extensions aim to cater to the needs of commuters and clear the extra rush of travellers.

The following special trains will see an extension in their periodicity:

Pune-Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Terminus Daily Specials:

  • Train No. 01023 Pune-Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Terminus Kolhapur special, originally scheduled until March 31, will now operate from April 1 to June 30, totalling 91 additional trips.
  • Train No. 01024 Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Terminus Kolhapur-Pune special, also initially slated until March 31, will now continue its services from April 1 to June 30, comprising 91 more trips.
  • Train No. 01487 Pune-Harangul special, previously notified up to March 31, will now run from April 1 to June 30, adding 91 more trips.
  • Train No. 01488 Harangul-Pune special, initially planned until March 31, will now operate from April 1 to June 30, totalling 91 additional trips.

Lokmanya Tilak Terminus-Solapur Weekly Specials:

  • Train No. 01435 Solapur-LTT special, originally notified until March 26, will continue its services from April 2 to June 25, totalling 13 more trips.
  • Train No. 01436 LTT-Solapur special, initially scheduled until March 27, will now run from April 3 to June 26, comprising 13 additional trips.

Passengers are advised that the timings, composition, and halts for the trains mentioned earlier remain unchanged.
