Pune: Chikhali-Moshi-Pimpri Chinchwad Housing Society Federation Hosts Successful Citizen Dialogue
In a groundbreaking initiative, the Chikhali-Moshi-Pimpri Chinchwad Housing Society Federation organized a citizen dialogue, “Samvad Society Dharak,” which brought together over 2000 members from various housing societies across the region. The event, held on August 25, 2024, at the Season Banquet Hall, Lakshmi Chowk, Chikhali, aimed to foster communication between the Municipal and Police administrations and society members. The enthusiastic response from the members was a testament to the success of the program. Society members and flat owners from areas including Nigdi, Talwade, Chikhli, Kudulwadi, Jadhavwadi, Moshi, Dudulgaon, Charholi, Dighi, and Bhosari actively participated in the dialogue, raising issues and seeking solutions.
Commissioner of Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation, Shekhar Singh, Joint Commissioner Shashikant Mahavarkar, and MLA Maheshdada Landge interacted with the members, addressing their concerns and grievances. The discussions covered a range of topics, including road construction, encroachment removal, water, waste management, urban health, traffic congestion, illegal businesses, and civic security.
Prakash Jukantwar, Secretary of Chikhali-Moshi-Pimpri Chinchwad Housing Society Federation, expressed his satisfaction with the event’s outcome, crediting President Sanjeevan Sangle for his support in making the session a success.
This citizen dialogue marks a significant step towards bridging the gap between the administration and citizens, ensuring that the voices of the people are heard and addressed.
