ZONE -2 Cricket Tournament For Boys U-17 Won By The Bishop’s Co- ed School, Undri

The Bishop’s School, Camp, hosted this year’s CISCE Games and Sports, Zone 2 Cricket Tournament for the U-17 Boys Category. The Tournament started on 17th April 2024 with the total number of 15 well known school teams in and around Pune.

The Tournament concluded on 19 April 2024 with the grand finale between The Bishop’s School, Camp, and the Bishop’s Co-ed School, Undri, where The Bishop’s Co- ed School, Undri, scored 183 runs for 4 wickets in 15 overs. The Bishop’s School, Camp, could only manage 133 runs and lost all their wickets. With this, The Bishop’s Co-ed School, Undri, won the CISCE Zone 2 Cricket Tournament 2024 by 50 runs.

On a personal front Idris Hakim from The Bishop’s Co-ed School, Kalyani Nagar, was the highest scorer of the tournament with 255 runs. The highest wicket taker was Tanish Jain from The Bishop’s Co-ed School, Undri, with 11 wickets.

Second Runner up: The Bishop’s Co-ed School, Kalyani Nagar

The Winners and the Runner up teams will represent the Zone at the Regional Tournament which will be held in Mumbai.

We would like to thank our Principal and Honorary Secretary of The Bishop’s Education Society, Shayne McPherson, who is also the CISCE Games and Sports Coordinator for Maharashtra, Goa and Schools Abroad, for his able guidance. The Headmaster, Christopher Gaynor for his endless support for making this tournament a grand success.
