Pune : Couple From Market Yard Attack Each Other with Sharp Sickles ; 2 Separate FIRs Filed at Market Yard Police Station

Pune: In a shocking incident, a married couple stabbed and attacked each other with sharp sickles over a domestic dispute in the Market Yard area in Pune.
Speaking to Pune Pulse, Suresh Singh Goud, Police Inspector, Market Yard Police Station said, “ The couple lives in a nearby society in the market yard area. The husband has a salon in the Navi Peth area. A neighbour visited them four days ago requesting them to sell the sickle that was lying in their house to cut some trees. However, the husband refused to sell it. A dispute arose between them when the wife asked her husband to sell it and get some money as it was lying useless. However, the husband refused to do so. As a result, the argument increased which led to the incident.”
As per information from Sureshsingh Goud, the couple filed separate FIRs against each other at Market Yard Police Station on July 1. A case has been registered against both of them under Section 324 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). A 6-month peace bond will be signed by both of them by the police.
