Pune District Collector announces traffic diversion for heavy vehicles ahead of Maratha Sakal Samaj’s sabha in Kharadi

District Collector Rajesh Deshmukh has announced traffic diversion for heavy vehicles at Mahalaxmi Lawns in the vicinity of Kharadi – Chandan Nagar on Pune-Nagar Road to alleviate traffic congestion between 6 am to 12 pm on November 20.
The traffic is diverted ahead of Maratha Sakal Samaj’s sabha scheduled in Mahalaxmi Lawns, Kharadi.
As per the information provided, route for heavy vehicles travelling from Ahmednagar to Pune city has been changed. These vehicles will now pass through Shikrapur and take the Pune-Mumbai route via Chakan and Bhosari.
This directive do not apply to vehicles providing urgent services such as police, ambulances, fire brigade vehicles, petrol diesel tankers, and PMPML buses. School buses will not be affected by this change.
