Pune District Legal Services Authority To Hold Lok Adalat on Sept 9 at Traffic Police Office in Yerwada
For disposal of pending cases related to violation of traffic rules, the Pune District Legal Services Authority has organized Lok Adalat on 9th September 2023 in Deputy Commissioner of Police Traffic Branch Office, Bungalow no 6, Near Yerwada Post Office, Pune.
As per information from Pune Traffic Police Authorities, pursuant to the said Lok Adalat, a comprehensive meeting was held on 24th August between Deputy Commissioner of Police Traffic, Pune,  Secretary, Pune District Legal Services Authority, First Class Judicial Magistrate, Motor Vehicle Court Shivajinagar.
According to the discussion held in the said meeting, from 28th August, a helpdesk is being launched for information about concessions at Pune Traffic Branch Office, Bungalow No. 6, Near Yerwada Post Office, Pune.
Under it, for public interest and to dispose of pending cases, the issuance of pending traffic violations on citizens’ vehicles will be exempted after compromise. The drivers/owners, whose vehicles have pending cases regarding violation of traffic rules, if they remain present at Deputy Commissioner of Police Traffic Branch Office, Yerwada Pune from 28th August between 11.00 am to 14.00 pm and from 15.00 pm to 17.00 pm, the fine amount of the pending fines will be reduced after settlement.
