Pune: Drunk Bikers Scare Women with Water Balloons on FC Road
In Pune, on FC Road, a group of six drunk men on two motorcycles targeted women with water balloons. People in the area are shocked and angry about this and want the culprits to be punished.
This happened right before Holi, a festival of colors. Three men were riding on the same motorcycle, which is not allowed, and they threw water balloons at women walking by. This scared and upset the people around.
Someone who saw what happened took a video of it. The bikers would quickly disappear into the crowd after attacking women with balloons.
This ruined the happy atmosphere of the festival and made people worried about women’s safety on FC Road.
One person who saw it happen said, “I was surprised by how these young men behaved. FC Road is usually a busy place where young people hang out, but now it’s not safe for girls. I was out shopping with my friends when I saw these guys throwing balloons at some girls. People around didn’t like it. The guys who did this should be caught and punished. The authorities need to do something to stop this from happening again.”
A leader from the Maharashtra Legislative Council, Dr. Neelam Gorhe, called this incident scary. She’s asked the police to investigate by emailing them and has asked to see the video footage from security cameras. Just last week, she talked to the police about problems in the city, especially with traffic. She wants them to look at these issues again and make sure people can’t cause trouble easily. After this incident, she says it’s really important for the police to stop this from happening again and punish the people responsible.
Police officials have assured to take action against those involved.
