Pune: Photography students of Fergusson College in Pune have arranged a photo exhibition at the Yashwantrao Chavan Art Gallery with around 50 photographs. The exhibition aims to showcase the photographs clicked by students and bring them to a wider audience.

The college has been offering a one-year certificate course in photography since 1983. The first photography exhibition was held in the same year. Since then, the college has been conducting yearly exhibitions to display the photos clicked by its students.

This year’s exhibition has received a good response, with students from other colleges also visiting the exhibition. The exhibition displays three photo stories with themes of ‘Talim’, ‘Sakhi’, and ‘Painting Artist’. The exhibition also includes commercial shoots done by the students.

Piyush Gogawale, one of the students, expressed his satisfaction with the response to the exhibition. “We are getting a good response, and students from other colleges have also visited. We have showcased our year’s work, and there are three photo stories up here,” he said.
