Pune : Fire broke out at Pune University main building
Fire broke out yesterday at the 7th floor where the wooden logs are kept for flag hoisting and the old wooden staircase. Before the fire brigade personnel could reach from Pune Central fire brigade the security incharge at the site had attempted to douse the fire by using extinguishers.
The Fire brigade personnel used 8 hose to climb up and sprayed water over the area which had caught fire. The personnel involved in extinguishing fire were Kamlesh Sangale, driver Anil Nikalje, firemen Waze, Swapnil Waghmare, Mohite, Burud, Helper Omkar Kamble, and Lohokare.
