Pune News : Expedite new railway overbridge work at Manjari : Ravindra Chavan
Maharashtra’s Public Works Department Minister Ravindra Chavan has given instructions to officials to speed up the construction of the new railway overbridge at Manjari, by completing the land acquisition process swiftly.
The purpose of this overbridge is to ease traffic congestion in the area, which has been a major issue for the residents and commuters.Chavan himself visited the site to inspect the ongoing construction work, and after analyzing the situation, he said that 90% of the work has been completed. He also directed the officials to clear any obstacles that may be in the way, such as the service road, to expedite the project’s completion.
Minister Chavan visited construction site along with former MLA Yogesh Tilekar, chief engineer of Pune Public Works Department Atul Chavan and other officer bearers including Bappa Bahir,Amol Pawar and Manjari sarpanch Shivraj GhuleThe construction of this overbridge is considered to be a crucial step towards the development of the region, as it will reduce traffic congestion and save time for the residents and commuters. The project’s completion will also help in the smooth movement of goods and services, which is essential for the growth of any region.It is expected that once the construction of the overbridge is completed, the traffic congestion in the area will reduce significantly, providing relief to the people who travel through the region daily.
