Pune : MNGL pipeline on NIBM road catches fire during road work
It is the second incident of this month the pipeline of the Maharashtra Natural Gas Limited Pipeline caused damaged. This is time the pipeline caught fire while previously the pipeline had broken when the road work was being carried out.
The Pune Municipal Corporation is carrying out work to reduce the height of the road since last three works. Last time when the pipeline saw damage the supply to the area was damaged for more than 12 hours. Residents are clueless as to what safety precautions are being carried out in the area by MNGL and PMC both. Residents are left with no option to wait fir resumption in service as the helpline numbers often go unanswered at MNGL.
