Pune: Four Booked After Assault During Dance Party At Hadapsar's Cult Terra Restaurant
Pune, July 20, 2026: Pune Police have registered a case against four unidentified men following an alleged assault and criminal intimidation incident at a hotel in Cult Terra restaurant in the Hadapsar area.
According to the information from Hadapsar Police Station, the complaint has been filed by a 26 year old working professional, a resident of Koregaon Park. The case has been registered under relevant provisions of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023, including charges related to assault, causing hurt, criminal intimidation, and intentional insult.
The incident reportedly took place at around 2:00 am on July 19 at Hotel Cult Terra House in the Magarpatta area.
According to the complaint, the complainant and three friends had gone to the hotel for a dance party when an argument broke out with a group of four men, one of whom was described as wearing a red T-shirt. The accused allegedly abused the complainant, punched her in the face, and assaulted her friend by striking him on the head with a beer bottle, causing bleeding injuries.
The complaint further states that another friend was allegedly assaulted, and his shirt was torn during the altercation. The accused also allegedly abused and threatened the complainant’s female friend.
Police have launched an investigation to identify and trace the accused. The case is being investigated by Assistant Police Inspector D.S. Patil of Hadapsar Police Station.
According to the complaint, the accused are yet to be arrested.
