Pune, November 12, 2025: The Kondhwa Police have registered a case against four women for allegedly abusing and obstructing police personnel while they were on duty in the Kondhwa Khurd area of Pune.

According to the police report, the incident took place on November 10, 2025, at around 8:10 pm in a lane behind Lonkar Garden, Kondhwa Khurd. 

A team of women police constables from Cops 24, Pune City Crime Branch, were on official patrolling duty when they received a call via the MDT (Mobile Data Terminal) system about a suspicious situation in the area.

When the officers reached the location and began questioning a few individuals on a two-wheeler, the four accused women reportedly started shouting loudly, hurling abuses, and pushing the officers. They allegedly created a scene and obstructed the police from performing their official duties.

No arrests have been made so far. The case has been registered under sections 132, 352, and 115(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, along with relevant sections of the Maharashtra Police Act and the Maharashtra Prohibition Act.

Police Sub-Inspector Snehal Jadhav is investigating the case.
