Pune, October 29, 2025: Hadapsar residents are raising serious concerns over the growing garbage menace around the Gliding Centre area, which they say has turned into a breeding ground for diseases.

The accumulation of waste and filth has made it difficult for locals who visit the area for morning and evening walks.

Citizens allege that despite repeated complaints, local representatives are ignoring the issue while focusing on election publicity and personal promotion. Residents question why leaders who frequently visit the area for public interactions fail to notice the unhygienic conditions and take immediate action.

They point out that the roads around the Gliding Centre are filled with garbage and mud, creating both health and safety hazards. Locals argue that if such small yet crucial issues remain unresolved, larger development promises for Hadapsar remain doubtful.

Residents are urging civic authorities and elected representatives to prioritise cleanliness drives and ensure proper waste management in the locality. The situation has now reached a stage where the health and well-being of the community are at stake.
