Pune : Good News For Residents As Kondhwa Road Is Set To Become Traffic-Free
After persistent efforts over the past several days, the long-awaited road-widening work from Kondhwa Main Road to Shivnerinagar Chowk has finally commenced. The residents of this area, who have long suffered from severe traffic congestion due to narrow roads and encroachments, can now hope for relief. BJP General Secretary of Hadapsar Assembly, Akshay Madanrao Shinde, expressed his satisfaction over the progress.
The project was inaugurated under the guidance of Union Minister Muralidhar Mohol and Legislative Council Member Yogesh Tilekar. The ceremony was led by Senior Police Inspector Kumar Ghadge from the Kondhwa Traffic Division, in the presence of Kondhwa Khurd residents. Key attendees included Pandharinath Lonkar, Kakasaheb Pangare, Madan Shinde, Prakash Kate, Rajendra Bibwe, Satpal Parge, Dadasaheb Lonkar, and Laxman Lonkar.
This road-widening project is expected to resolve traffic congestion issues and provide safer, more convenient travel for local residents. Akshay Shinde expressed confidence that this initiative marks a significant step toward a traffic-free Kondhwa, ushering in positive change. The Pune Municipal Corporation and Kondhwa Traffic Division have played a crucial role in supporting this project.
