The Indian Gig Workers Front has organized a grand rally of cab drivers on 10th February in Kharadi. According to Indian Gig Workers Front, the rally is organized to protest against the companies that are exploiting the hardworking rickshaw and cab drivers by not following the rules of the administration.

As per further information shared by Dr Keshav Kshirsagar, President, Indian Gig Workers Front & Baghtoy Rickshawala Association,

Without any valid license, several cab companies are doing business without permission and the authorities have turned a blind eye.

On January 3, the Pune RTO announced the fares of AC and NON AC cabs as per the directives of the Khatua Committee. But even the companies are not following it, they are not following those cab fares as per the order of the Pune District Collector.

In order to oppose all this, a strong protest will be launched in the coming days, and to decide it tomorrow, on February 10, at 12 pm, a rally of cab drivers will be held. Organized at Late Rajaram Bhiku Pathare Stadium, Kharadi, a large number of cab drivers will gather.
