Melange Residences, Hinjawadi Phase 3, witnessed a spectacular and spirited celebration of Shiv Jayanti, paying homage to the legendary Maratha warrior, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Residents of all age groups came together to honor his legacy, creating an atmosphere of pride, devotion, and enthusiasm.
Dhol-Tasha Procession – A Grand Rally of Unity
The highlight of the event was a dhol-tasha procession, where residents enthusiastically took a round of the society, celebrating with high energy and rhythmic beats. The sound of traditional drums resonated through the air, adding to the fervor and patriotic spirit of the occasion. The vibrant procession, led by enthusiastic residents, showcased their deep reverence for the Maratha warrior king.
Cultural Extravaganza – Talent and Tribute
Children actively participated in a drawing competition, where they beautifully illustrated various aspects of Shivaji Maharaj’s life, battles, and achievements. Their creativity and enthusiasm truly reflected their admiration for the great leader.
Additionally, children also put up dramatic performances, reenacting historic events and stories from Shivaji Maharaj’s life. Their dedication and performances left the audience spellbound, reminding everyone of the warrior’s courage, strategic brilliance, and vision.

The event was meticulously planned and successfully executed by the Shivjayanti Utsav Melange 2025 Volunteers, with immense dedication and support from the Chaitanya Group (Senior Citizens), Raj Ghodke, Vaibhav Sonavale, Pankaj Chintamani, Shashank Mishra, Ashutosh Nanda, Nikhil Padwale, Robinson D’Souza and Vinod Singh
Their relentless efforts ensured a seamless and grand celebration, allowing residents to celebrate, learn, and connect with history in a meaningful way.
