Pune International Business Summit 2022 to be held on Feb 14-15
Mahratta Chamber of Commerce, Industries and Agriculture has organised the third edition of the Pune International Business Summit on Monday, 14 and Tuesday, 15 February 2022 at the S. L. Kirloskar International Convention Centre, JW Marriott, Senapati Bapat Road, Pune.
The summit shall cover sessions on topics like Maharashtra’s prominence in international trade and investments, research and innovation to drive international business and accelerating India’s international trade growth.
Business delegates shall also get an opportunity to network and learn about prospects for trade and investments in various countries, prospects to form partnerships with companies from abroad, connecting to global supply chains, etc.
Subhash Desai, Minister for Industries, Government of Maharashtra, will be the Chief Guest at the inaugural function of the Summit.
Dammu Ravi, Secretary (Economic Relations), Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India and Santosh Kumar Sarangi, Director General of Foreign Trade, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, will be the key speakers at the Session on Government Initiatives and Policies for promoting Exports.
In addition, we will have the distinguished presence of the Consul Generals of Israel, Singapore, Australia, Sweden, Poland, Norway, South Africa, Indonesia and the Head of the Economic Section of the Embassy in Germany.
As the summit is being held in Pune and one of the key aim is to increase investment in this region and promote trade and commerce of this region with the wider world, there will be a specific session titled, ‘Invest in Pune’ that will see participation of commissioners from PMC, PCMC and PMRDA and District collector of the Pune District.
The Summit would be organised over two days of 14 and 15 February and all are expected to follow extant covid appropriate behaviour.
