Pune : Jayant Patil Hints at Amol Kolhe and Prashant Jagtap as probable candidates for elections in Shirur and Hadapsar Constituencies 

First Vijay Melava of the Nationalist Congress Party – Sharadchandra Pawar with its new name and logo was held yesterday in Hadapsar by senior leader Jayant Patil. 

In the meeting held for the party members, Patil spoke about the party’s vision. 

Jayant Patil hinted the candidature of Prashant Jagtap in the Hadapsar gathering. After the split in NCP, many leaders including Hadapsar MLA Chetan Tupe supported Ajit Pawar. However, Prashant Jagtap has firmly stood behind Sharad Pawar.

Before the split, Jagtap was the Pune city president of NCP. After the split, he was retained as the Pune city president of NCP Sharad Pawar group. Jayant Patil mentioned this and hinted at Jagtap’s candidature for the upcoming elections while speaking at the gathering in Hadapsar constituency. He also made an indicative statement regarding the candidature of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly.

Patil said that Prashant Jagtap is handling the role of the party with great care. He has played an important role with being loyal to the party. He has worked a lot in Pune. He also takes care of Hadapsar constituency.
