Pune: Man Arrested for sexually assaulting two 12-Year-Old Boys in Alandi
Pimpri Chinchwad police nabbed a 28-year-old guy on Sunday for allegedly assaulting two 12-year-old boys, who study at a religious and cultural school in Alandi. The incident occurred while the kids were asleep in their room on Saturday night. “One of the boys told his mom the next day. She promptly came to us and filed a complaint. We nabbed the suspect,” mentioned senior inspector Bhima Narke from the Alandi police. Narke mentioned that the arrested man is the brother of the institute owner’s wife in Alandi. The police have also charged the sister for not reporting the incident.
They have been charged under various sections of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (Pocso) Act. Currently, there are seven students at the institute, and the suspect has been living there for three years. “He assaulted two students on Saturday night. The investigation is ongoing,” Narke added.
