Pune: Massive Fire Breaks Out At Furniture Warehouse In Dhayari; Machinery And Vehicles Damaged
Pune, 13 June, 2025 : A fire was reported at a furniture manufacturing warehouse near NAC Enterprises on the road towards DSK Vishwa, plot number 129, Dhayari today early this morning. The alert was received from the Main Fire Station. Immediately, fire tenders from Navale Fire Station, Sinhagad Fire Station, PMRDA, and water tankers from the Central Fire Station rushed to the scene.
Upon arrival, it was observed that a major fire had engulfed the furniture inside the warehouse. Firefighters broke open the shutter and launched a continuous water-spraying operation to control and extinguish the blaze.
The fire caused extensive damage to furniture, machinery, two motorcycles, and the warehouse’s metal shed.
The team on duty included Fire Officer Umratkar, Nilesh Pokale (Officer), Driver Pangare, and firemen Bharat Gogavale, Vishal Dhaygude, Harshad Kamble, Rishikesh Humbe, Ishwar Narwade, Pratik Edke, and Kishor Kalbhor.
