PUNE: Pune Metro has released the following Do’s and Don’ts for travelling during Ganesh Festival.

DO’s

1) Ganesha idol  should be 2 feet or less than that

2) Cover the idol safely and properly

3) Prefer to carry the idol during off-peak hours

4) Use the lift at the station

5) Note the distance between the metro train and the platform and stand behind the yellow line

6) Restrictions on playing drums and  keep calm

7) Be careful not to disturb other passengers

8) Help each other and travel safely

9) Take care not to block anyone’s way

Don’t’s

1) Idols 2 feet or more in height are prohibited

2) Avoid using electronic items like loud speakers, mics, megaphones

3) Avoid unnecessary crowding

4) Avoid using things like colours, flowers and crackers

5) Do not travel with any prohibited and inflammable items in metro trains

6) Avoid worship, singing, aarti, in metro trains

7) Avoid use of flash lights

8) Do not litter in metro trains and anywhere in the station area

9) Do not damage metro property

10) Do not crowd and stand near Ganesha idol
