A mini bus carrying four passengers slipped and overturned in Chandani Chowk at around 7:30 am on June 30. Although parts of the mini bus were damaged, there were no casualties.
Sunil Jaitapurkar, Police Inspector of Warje Malwadi Police Station, stated that the incident occurred when the mini bus was traveling from Warje to the Mumbai Pune highway. The steering wheel locked and stuck, causing the driver to lose control, leading to the bus slipping and overturning slightly. However, the driver regained control and skillfully maneuvered the bus, bringing it to a stop by gently hitting a footpath.
According to Sunil Jaitapurkar, certain parts of the mini bus, including the steering rod and doors, sustained damage. Due to the driver’s quick thinking, no fatalities were reported, with only two people suffering minor injuries, receiving necessary medical attention.

The Warje police team is conducting further investigations into the incident, focusing on understanding how the steering wheel became locked and stuck.
