Pune: MNS Pune city president Sainath Babar’s son receives death threat

On Monday evening, the 16-year-old son of Sainath Babar, who is the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena Pune City president, was reportedly abused and threatened by a woman residing in the Eleganza Phase 2 building located on NIBM Road Kondhwa. According to Aarti Sainath Babar, the mother of the victim, the incident occurred while Babar’s son was playing with other children in the society.

The accused woman allegedly verbally abused Babar’s son and warned him that he would be taught a lesson if he continued to play in the society. The incident left the young boy traumatized and deeply upset, prompting his mother to file a complaint with the Kondhwa police station.

As a result of the complaint, the Kondhwa police registered a case of non-cognizable offense (NC) against the accused woman. The police are currently investigating the matter, with PSI Shaikh handling the case.

The incident has sparked outrage and condemnation from various quarters, with many calling for swift action against the accused woman. Many have also expressed their support for the young victim and his family, urging them to stay strong in the face of such adversity.

Former corporator Sainath Babar said, ” Accused threatened my son when he was playing in the society premises. Accused has gun, hence to avoid any untoward incident, we have approached police station and lodged a police complaint.”
