Pune – Mumbai Highway : Pimpri Chinchwad police nab three robbers during patrolling

The Pimpri-Chinchwad police arrested three men, identified as Abhishek Bhosale, Vijay Mhaske, and Shantkumar Dadul, in connection with a robbery on the old Pune-Mumbai highway. The accused were caught by a crime branch team led by senior police inspector Arvind Pawar, who found them acting suspiciously while patrolling on the highway. When the accused attempted to escape on their two-wheeler, the police chased and arrested them.

During the investigation, it was discovered that the accused had robbed a man on the same highway a few days prior. The police registered an offense of robbery at the Dehu Road police station and recovered several items from the accused, including a laptop, a sharp weapon, two cell phones, and a two-wheeler.

According to a press release issued by the police, Bhosale and Mhaske have been previously booked in multiple robbery cases, indicating that they are history-sheeters.
