Pune Municipal Corporation Demolishes Unauthorized Farmhouses In Pashan's Keerti Garden Area
The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has taken action against two unauthorized farmhouses in the Pashan’s Keerti Garden area. Approximately 3,000 square feet of construction was demolished during the operation. These farmhouses were situated within a restricted zone of the High Energy Materials Research Laboratory (HEMRL) and were under construction.
To date, PMC has targeted eight farmhouses in the area, with another twelve pending actions. Post-monsoon, further demolitions will be carried out using a road cutter machine. Today’s operation involved the use of two gas cutters, one JCB, and one breaker to dismantle the illegal structures.
