The residents of Wagholi have planned to protest against the Pune Municipal Corporation, Pune Metropolitan Regional Development Authority (PMRDA) for no action on water supply, creating road infrastructure, reducing property taxes, amenities, etc. This time the protest will continue until the PMC Commissioner Vikram Kumar hears the plea and resolves our issues.

The residents informed Pune Pulse that in the PMC’s office in Wagholi, there is no one to listen to the complaints and resolve them.

The protest is organised by Bakori road residents and Team Wagholi Against Corruption which will start from the PMC Wagholi Office, at 11 am on February 26. The residents had recently held two protests in the month of January, where they were promised action by the government authorities but there has been no solution to it. And hence the residents have planned for another protest.
