Pune News: Car Carrying Three Passengers Overturns On Road Divider Near Dhobi Ghat, No Injuries Reported
A four wheeler ran over the road divider near Dhobi ghat just a few meters away from the Pune Cantonment Board office last night. The incident took place at 12 midnight and there were no injuries reported in the accident. There were three passengers in the vehicle when the accident took place.
The road divider at many places is broken on this stretch of road and has led to several accidents in the past. Local residents have been raising their voice against the PCB as well as the Public Works Department to repair the road dividers, but most of the complaints have gone unheard with both authorities only playing blame games.
Residents have also complained that absence of reflectors, lack of street lights, and potholes are some of the important reasons for causing accidents.
