Pune News: Car truck collision on Mumbai-Bengaluru Highway claims infant’s life

In an unfortunate incident, a newborn infant lost its life when a four-wheeler lost control of his vehicle and collided with a truck on the Mumbai-Bengaluru Highway in the Pimpri Chinchwad area. Two more people suffered injuries and are undergoing treatment at a private hospital. Rawet police are investigating further into this matter.

As per information, the four-wheeler driver lost control of his vehicle in front of the Sentosa Hotel while travelling from Pune to Mumbai, and collided with the rear end of the truck. Sadly, this incident claimed the life of a one-month-old newborn. The infant along with his mother, a one-and-a-half-year-old child, and the driver were coming from the hospital when the incident occurred. The people travelling in the car were residents of Shirgaon Pandharwadi.

 The mother, her other kid, and the injured driver of the vehicle have all been brought to the hospital for treatment following this collision.
