Women in Kunjirwadi village, located near Loni Kalbhor, are becoming more worried about their safety as a result of a chain-snatching incident that happened.

The victim of the crime was a 34-year-old woman who was with her child when two unidentified individuals on a motorcycle stole her gold chain, which was worth ₹1.35 lakh, and fled the scene. A police search for the perpetrators was prompted by the CCTV footage of the entire incident.

The incident happened on Monday afternoon while the woman was making her way home, according to the police. Two men on a motorcycle came up to her as she was walking and grabbed her gold chain. The thieves escaped despite her screams for assistance and attempts by onlookers to capture them.

The victim reflected on the terrifying event and revealed that, yesterday, February 26, she saw two people riding bikes close by as she was making her way home. She thought at first that they were waiting for someone. They suddenly came over to her and grabbed her gold chain by force. She yelled, but they ran away.

A resident expressed their hope for improvement in the wake of the Pune Police Commissioner’s public parade of criminals. Nevertheless, illegal alcohol is still sold here, and cars without license plates are still driven around freely. The local police have received numerous complaints about these illegal activities, but nothing has been done about them.
