Traffic Diversions Announced in Pimpri-Chinchwad for India vs. England T20 Match at MCA Stadium on January 31

From October 24 to October 28, 2024, the India vs New Zealand Test cricket match will be held at Maharashtra Cricket Association’s Gahunje Stadium in the Pimpri-Chinchwad jurisdiction. Due to the anticipated influx of spectators in private vehicles, significant traffic congestion is expected in the area. To ensure smooth traffic flow, the following temporary traffic changes have been implemented: 

1. Mamurdi Village Route Restrictions:
   – Vehicles will be restricted from Ruhiz Biryani to Masulkar Farm.
   – Alternative Route: Vehicles will be diverted via Mamurdi Jakatnaka.

2. Marimata Chowk Restrictions:
   – Vehicles heading from Kivale Nala to Masulkar Farm will be restricted.
   – Alternative Route: Vehicles will be redirected through Krishna Chowk.

3. Post-Match Restrictions (Mukai Chowk Bus Stop to Kivale Underpass):
   – All vehicles heading towards Mumbai or Kivale from Mukai Chowk Bus Stop via Kivale Underpass will be restricted.
   – Alternative Route: Vehicles will be diverted via Samir Lawns and Kivale Village Road.

Additionally, heavy vehicles will be restricted on key routes from 7:00 AM to 11:00 AM and from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM daily during the match.

Motorists are advised to follow the prescribed routes and avoid using internal village roads. The authorities request cooperation in maintaining a single lane of traffic, as service roads near the stadium are narrow.
