Pune: Bhosari police station constable Sachin Jadhav has reunited a record number of missing children/adolescents with their parents. He recently reunited a 17-year-old boy from Dapodi with his mother last week, this being his 500th successful missing persons case in the last 18 months. As per information shared by Sachin, he had reunited 500 children with their parents in the last one and a half years.

Explaining more about his efforts, Sachin said that social media tracking and call record details are his prominent weapons. Once he gets to know about missing complaints, he used to track his/her social media accounts and then get all the call details. Based on the discovery, Sachin then decides on his line of investigation.

From October 2021 to February 2023, Sachin reunited 504 children with their parents. Now every family of a missing person wants Sachin to investigate the case.

Senior Police Inspector Bhaskar Jadhav said, “Sachin has developed his expertise to discover missing cases. Initially, he understands the whole case, and later in his special way, he finds the missing person. As a result of which, in our division, we are at the top of the list to clear missing cases.’’

Sachin joined the police department in 2014. Initially, he was posted at the Mumbai Police, where he had deputed to security teams of various government institutes. Later in 2019, he was transferred to the Pimpri Chinchwad Police force and deputed at Bhosari police station, where his skills were groomed under the guidance of police inspector Bhaskar Jadhav.
