Pune News : ESIC SC ST Employees and Officers Association’s cultural program held in Bibvewadi

ESIC SC ST Employees and Officers Association, Pune had organised a cultural program for children on the 7th of April as part of the Bhima Jayanti 2023 Festival.

The event was inaugurated by the Head of the office and Deputy Director Incharge of ESIC Sub Regional Office, Pune, Hemant Kumar Pandey. The program was graced by the presence of Mrs. Pandey, Mrs. Khandve, and office bearers of the organization, Vaibhav Dudhmal, Manish Ade and Mirendra Bhosle among others.

The children performed an array of cultural activities such as songs, speeches, dance, and various arts. The program also featured a special performance by a group of girls who sang and danced to the Bhima Geet. Speaking on the occasion, Pandey appreciated the children’s cultural program organized under the Bhima Jayanti 2023 festival, stating that it is a very commendable activity. He further emphasized that Babasaheb’s work in nation-building is of great importance and went on to appreciate the various representations on Babasaheb’s work and life through various arts presented by the children.

Pandey also shared her thoughts on the Bhima Jayanti festival activities, highlighting that the thoughts of Babasaheb Ambedkar are still very much relevant for the country. Vaibhav Dudhmal anchored the program.Overall, it was an engaging and memorable event that showcased the talents of the children and celebrated the life and work of Babasaheb Ambedkar.
