Pune News : EV charging station set up at Race Course MSEDCL office

The Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (MSEDCL) has installed two AC and one DC charger at the Race Course (Turf club)  MSEDCL office. 

Speaking to Pune Pulse, Rajesh Mohite, assistant engineer, MSEDCL, Wanowrie informed that the station is officially yet to be inaugurated. But many motorists have started using the charging stations for charging their vehicles. 

These stations will really be helpful for electrical vehicles. The location is also prime which may give great impact and more vehicles can benefit from the stations. The fast chargers are enabling motorists to charge their vehicles quickly. 

This charger will enable vehicles to charge their cars within 3 to 3.5 hours and also cost them around Rs 400. There are about 400 such stations set up by MSEDCL in Maharashtra. In Pune, there are stations in Baner, Kharadi and now in Wanawadi. This station will remain open for the customers for 24 hours.Â
