Pune News: Federation Of Chakan Industries Honors Brave Police Officers For Heroic Action
Pune, March 13, 2025 – The Federation of Chakan Industries (FCI) organized a special event at Gabriel Ind Ltd, Kuruli, to recognize the bravery and selfless service of Dr. Shivaji Pawar, DCP, PCPC, and Shri Prasanna Jarhad, API, Chakan Police Station. The officers were honored for their courageous efforts in apprehending robbers despite sustaining injuries.
The event was attended by industry leaders and senior police officials, including Shivhari Halan, President of FCI; Rajendra Tapadia, MD of Safe Pack; and Sandeep Belsare, President of Pimpri Chinchwad Small Scale Industries Association. Police Inspectors Nitin Gite (Mahalunge Police Station) and Pramod Wagh (Chakan Police Station) were also present.
During the program, PI Nitin Gite provided an awareness session on the new Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita. Rajendra Tapadia felicitated Dr. Pawar and Shri Jarhad with a traditional pagdi and shawl, acknowledging their commitment to maintaining law and order.
In his speech, Dr. Shivaji Pawar expressed gratitude to FCI for their support and urged industries to contribute to the construction of Mahalunge Police Station through CSR funds. He also appealed for assistance in installing CCTV cameras at key entry and exit points of the industrial area and in creating employment opportunities for the children of police personnel.
FCI CEO Dilip Batwal introduced the program and assured Dr. Pawar of FCI’s support. Vinod Razdan delivered the vote of thanks, concluding the event.
