Pune, October 2, 2024 – A tragic helicopter crash occurred in Pune’s Bavdhan Budruk area, resulting in the deaths of three individuals. The accident took place on a hill owned by KK Builders, with initial reports suggesting that thick fog in the area may have been a contributing factor.
The crash was reported to the Hinjawadi police control room at approximately 6:45 AM. Emergency services, including local police, fire engines, and an ambulance, were promptly dispatched to the scene to conduct rescue operations.

The helicopter had taken off from the helipad at Oxford Golf Club shortly before the crash. Eyewitnesses reported poor visibility due to the fog, which may have played a role in the incident. The local fire department and the Pune Metropolitan Region Development Authority (PMRDA) sent four fire engines, while a government ambulance, 108, provided immediate medical support.
