Lift For Upliftment, a leading non-governmental organization committed to empowering aspiring medical students, joyfully celebrated its 8th Foundation Day on 14th December 2023. 

This remarkable milestone underscores the organization’s unwavering dedication to providing free coaching for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) and uplifting the dreams of underprivileged students.

Founded on 14th December 2015 with a vision to bridge medical educational gaps and make quality coaching accessible to all, Lift For Upliftment has emerged as a beacon of hope for students aspiring to pursue careers in medicine. Over the past eight years, the organization has tirelessly worked towards its mission of fostering academic excellence and facilitating the holistic development of students facilitating admissions of 200+ students in different medical colleges in the last 8 years.

The Foundation Day celebrations were marked by a commemorative ceremony, testimonials from successful students, and sharing of experiences from the Volunteers. 

Function was graced by the August presence of Dr Ramdas Bhise (IRTS) who shared his valuable thoughts about ‘appropriate strategies required for cracking competitive exams along with Hard Work’ through his Personal experiences.

Lift For Upliftment extends its heartfelt appreciation to the dedicated team of volunteers, donors and well wishers who have played a pivotal role in the organization’s journey. As it looks forward to the future, the NGO remains committed to its goal of uplifting communities through education and creating a positive impact on society.

Lift for Upliftment(LFU) – A movement started by students of BJ Medical College with the aim of making medical education more inclusive and affordable to the poorest of poor. Gradually students from various medical & engineering colleges have joined voluntarily. LFU is a pioneer in providing free coaching for NEET (entrance for Medical examination) to needy and underprivileged students. Our aim is to support students by providing them proper hand holding along with quality education .

Since its inception, six batches of students have appeared for NEET. In 8 batches, LFU students have been able to secure admission for 96 MBBS, 17 BDS, 51 BAMS, 14 BHMS, 9 NURSING, 1 B FARM., 1 BMLT, 6 PHYSIOTHERAPY seats. 

And many more that could not get admission in Medical Colleges were counselled to join Pharmacy, Nursing and other Paramedical courses. LFU is trying to build quality human resources particularly for the Health Sector thus creating impact at grassroot level.

At LFU, in these 2 years of rigorous coaching, we not only focus on academics but also try to imbibe ethical and moral values in the minds of budding healthcare professionals.
