Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) Pune staged a strong protest against the contractor who has been harassing the people of Pune by neglecting to repair the roads from Dr. Vijay Kadam Chowk, Ghorpade Peth to Makkah Masjid, Momin Pura. This road is a crucial traffic route leading to Swargate from various areas in Pune, and due to the contractor’s abandonment of the road, citizens have faced significant inconveniences and accidents. The situation has worsened with the start of the holy month of Ramadan, which has increased traffic in the area.

A protest was held at Ghorpadi Peth, where citizens voiced their frustration with the poor condition of the road and the Pune Municipal Corporation‘s administration. The protest was attended by many prominent NCP leaders, including City President Prashant Jagtap, Spokesperson Pradeep Deshmukh, and several other office bearers and activists.

The NCP leaders have urged the media to highlight the issue and bring it to the public’s attention. The citizens of Pune deserve better, and it is essential to hold the contractor and the administration accountable for their negligence. The NCP is committed to standing with the people of Pune and ensuring that their concerns are addressed promptly.
